When you reach your final year of high-school here, you have to sit a GAT test.  Basically a general knowledge test over pretty much every subject. They say it's to help your Final score/rank should you miss an exam and whatnot.  (They refer to your GAT mark and past outcomes to derive a score)  This test is pretty infamous for its ridiculous questions.  I remember there was one biology question about arriving on an alien planet and having to decide which plant would survive.... Are amazing. They are this smudge tool you can use with grey leads...look like a rolled up (and pointed) piece of paper to cardboard-like..thing.  They work really well if you want to blend in shadows and whatnot.  Wait..wikipedia sums it up well....
